English Shepherd Adoption Process
- If you see a specific dog listed that you are interested in please contact the coordinator listed with the dog. If you are interested in adopting an English Shepherd when a dog comes available please email us. Please be sure to include where you are located and a way to contact you (i.e. phone number)
- Fill out an application and sign the contract and send it to the coordinator you have been working with for approval.
- Donation: NESR requests a donation of $200 for each dog adopted to help defray our expenses. NESR provides any medical care needed, and foster homes for all our dogs, this donation rarely covers everything we have spent but helps defray the costs.
- Transportation: It is the responsibility of the adopter to pay for transportation from the foster home, the crate (if needed) and the health certification from a Veterinarian (if needed). The coordinator you are working with will be able to give you an estimate of these expenses.
- Operation New Beginnings: The majority of the
dogs from Operation New Beginnings have been released to
NESR. Volunteers of ONB will be given first priority
for adoption and will not be asked for a donation for the
adoption. Residence of Yellowstone County will be
asked for a reduced adoption donation reflecting their
support of ONB. If you have any questions regarding
the adoption of dogs from ONB please contact us at rescue@nesr.info
